
Cyndie Randall grew up in Michigan and studied creative writing in her undergraduate program at Western Michigan University. She eventually earned her master’s degree in counseling. Cyndie lives with her family and their dog (Johnny) in a small town on the Kalamazoo River where they’re often seen walking and taking pictures. She can’t imagine ever leaving the comfort and magic of Michigan and the Great Lakes.
Cyndie’s work appears or is forthcoming in numerous print and online publications, including minnesota review, Frontier Poetry, DIAGRAM, The Pinch, The Florida Review, Pithead Chapel, Crab Creek Review, Longleaf Review, MORIA, Whale Road Review, 8 Poems, SWWIM, Autofocus Lit, and elsewhere. Her poems have been nominated for Best New Poets and Best of the Net anthologies, and her work was selected to appear in Best New Poets 2022. She is currently serving as a poetry contributing editor at Barren Magazine.
